These delicious berry brownies are vegan, raw and gluten free. You can decorate them with more berry powder, cacao nibs, or any toppings of choice.
Ingredients
Brownies: | |
1/2 cup | Oats (gluten free) |
1/2 cup | Pecans |
1/2 cup | Cashews |
1 tbsp | Coconut oil |
3 tbsp | Nut butter |
1 cup | Dates |
2 tbsp | Arctic Power Berries Blackcurrant powder |
3 tbsp | Raw cacao |
Frosting: | |
4 tbsp | Peanut butter |
3 tbsp | Maple syrup/honey |
3 tbsp | Raw cacao powder |
Coconut/almond milk |
Directions
- To make the brownies, start off by combing the oats and both types of nut in a food processor and pulse these on their own for a few seconds.
- Add in the rest of the ingredients, then blend until sticky and well combined.
- Transfer this into a brownie tin and firmly press down into the base of the dish. Pop these into the freezer for a couple of hours to chill.
- For the frosting, mix together the peanut butter, sweetener of choice and cacao powder, then gradually drizzle in the almond milk and mix continuously until you’re left with a super creamy, spreadable consistency.
