This Sea buckthorn smoothie combines tropical mango, banana and zesty lime with the powerful goodness of Arctic sea buckthorn. It is naturally rich in antioxidants, nutrients and healthy fats. Perfect for breakfast, post-workout recovery, or as an energising snack.
Ingredients
| 200g | fresh or frozen mango |
| 1 tbsp | sea buckthorn powder |
| 1 tbsp | lime juice |
| 1 | large ripe banana |
| 2 tbsp | milled flaxseed |
| 60g | plain natural or Greek yogurt, or non-dairy alternative |
| 400ml | milk of choice |
| Coconut flakes, granola, fresh mint, cacao nibs for topping, optional |
Directions
- Blend together all the ingredients aside from the toppings in a high speed blender until smooth.
- Pour into glasses and serve immediately with some toppings for swirling if desired.
