our loyal customers - we need your help!
Hi there. It’s Anna and Eve, the Founders of Arctic Power Berries. We would like to share a very unfortunate event that happened to us this week, and ask our customers, followers, and friends for help. What happened to us is so unfair it is worth sharing!
Our biggest customer, a UK based health food wholesaler has gone into administration, at the worst possible time, as we have just done a big supermarket launch through them and had supplied them more stock than we ever had before. They owe us an amount that is worth a quarter of our revenue, and we are never going to see any of that money.
In short, we now need online orders to stay afloat and recover our cash flow.
The way you can help us, collect some excellent good karma points and enjoy delicious Arctic berries is to go to our SHOP and order some berry powders. It would also be hugely helpful if you could choose the Tracked delivery, so we won’t need to pay for the postage.
We are IOSS registered, so shipping to EU is no longer a problem, and there will be no customs charges for the customer.
We can still recover from this though!
We know we WILL survive this, like we have always done before, way or another. We haven’t given up in 10 years while running this company, and are not going to give up now either, but some support right now would be hugely appreciated.
A bit more background information
This distributor has been acting a bit strange this summer, and it all makes sense now. We have been receiving frequent, unreasonably big orders from them all summer, even in the last few weeks leading up to their insolvency and they rushed us to deliver, clearly without the intention of ever paying us. We did wonder why they were ordering such big amounts but were also happy to get big orders and then supplied without questioning. This is so wrong! A big company with £56.6M turnover was trying to take the advantage of small companies, in order to try and save themselves. And didn’t even succeed in that!
What makes this situation even more disappointing is that we have supplied this distributor over 15,000 berry powder bags this summer, to make our supermarket launch happen. That stock seems to be gone now, we are not going to get paid for it, and the money from selling it is going to go into someone else’s hands.
We are of course doing our everything we can to try and get at least some of our invoices paid from the administrators, but even if we would ever get a small % of money back, this is going to be a very long process regardless.
So please, if you can, help us and order our berries and we will be eternally grateful!
