This creamy and delicious porridge is spiced with cinnamon, ground ginger and carrots, and topped up with nut butter and sea buckthorn flavoured yogurt. Try adding some crunchy granola or sliced fruit as an extra topping if you like.

Ingredients

  • 40g oats
  • 1 small carrot, grated
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 240ml almond milk
  • 1 tbsp cashew or almond butter
  • 1 tbsp agave nectar or maple syrup
  • 1-2 tsp Arctic Power Berries Seabuckthorn Powder
  • 2 tbsp plant-based yoghurt
  • To serve: fruit, extra nectar or syrup, extra cashew butter

Directions

  1. Warm the oats, grated carrot, cinnamon, ground ginger, cashew/almond butter, agave nectar or maple syrup and almond milk in a saucepan over a medium heat. Stir until creamy.
  2. Just before serving, stir through most of the Sea buckthorn powder.
  3. Stir the remaining Sea buckthorn powder into the plant-based yoghurt.
  4. Serve the warm porridge with the Sea buckthorn yoghurt and any extra toppings.
